The theme of this year’s virtual conference is Community, Connecting, Caring /Communauté, Connectivité, Compassion.
Community and connection are for everyone!
Social connection has been limited for the past few years, but now we are able to connect, share, and create a community in many spaces. Library staff in public, academic, corporate, and special libraries can connect with patrons in person again! Recreating communities allows us to engage with patrons via library events as well as connect them with services and resources. In June, we aim to highlight and celebrate ways in which we have built communities, maintained connections, and helped one another through challenges and changes.
We are seeking proposals that showcase initiatives in Library & Information Studies (or related fields) that deal with programming, staffing, collections, spaces, policy and/or services that support any of the three themes of Community, Connecting, and Caring.
